How to Make Soft Puffy Healthy Atta Pooris

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups of Shivtara Chakki Atta
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tblsp Oil
  • Water as needed
  • extra Oil to deep fry the pooris.

Instructions
 

Method:

  • Mix Shivtara Chakki Atta, oil & salt together in a mixing bowl until well blended. Add enough water and knead in to a stiff dough. Cover the bowl with a damp cloth and let this rest for 15 minutes before dividing it in to equal portions.
  • Roll each portion in to a ball and roll out on a pre oiled surface in to thin round flat circles.
  • Heat your oil to deep fry the poori’s.
  • Drop the poori in to the oil, pressing the top lightly until it puffs in to a baloon.
  • Flip over, cook and remove to drain.
Serve Hot.
