How to make Cheese parathas
Equipment
- Tava/Frying pan, Rolling pin
Ingredients
For the paratha dough
- 1 cup Shivtara Atta
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- 1 tbsp Oil
- Water as needed
For the stuffing
- 1 1/2 cups Grated cheese
- 1 finely chopped Onion
- 3 tbsp finely chopped Coriander leaves
- Salt to taste
Instructions
Method
- Mix Shivtara Chakki Atta, oil & salt together in a mixing bowl until well blended. Add enough water and knead in to a soft dough. Cover the bowl with a damp cloth and let this rest for 30 minutes before dividing it in to equal portions.
- Roll each portion in to a ball and then roll it out flat with your rolling pin.
- Add a portion of the cheese stuffing in the middle and wrap the rolled out paratha around it.
- Heat a frying pan or tava, place the paratha on it, add some ghee to cook it until golden brown on both sides.
- Remove and serve hot.
