Sooji Upma recipe

- 1 cup Shivtara Sooji
- 1 chopped finely Onion
- 2 chopped Green chilli
- 5 Curry leaves
- ¼ tsp Asafoetida
- 1 tsp Mustard seeds
- 1 tsp Urad dal
- 2 tblspn Ghee
- 1 tsp Ginger
- Salt to taste
- Coriander leaves or spring onion for garnishing
- 2 cups warm water
Instructions
Method:
- In a kadai add ghee and crackle some mustard seeds, Urad dal, Asafoetida for 1min.
- Add in onions, green chilli, curry leaves and cook for 1min.
- Add in the warm water, and mix well, let it come to a good boil. Season with some salt.
